I had the pleasure of starting my collaboration with Emma from Vendor VA in the summer of 2023, a pivotal moment when I realised that juggling every aspect of my business was taking a toll on my sanity. I have been working with Lucy and her team since April 2021 and what a journey we have been on. We opened the venue shortly Covid and had a handful of weddings which were lovely. The couples who were booked in over Covid we moved until restrictions were lifted.

Taking on Lucy and her team has changed the business, she was recommend to me and comes with a wealth of wedding knowledge and great organisational skills. We have gone from a lever arch folder with paperwork to a paperless drive where all couples have their own folder for the team to access and anyone can see what is going on. She likes to be transparent and once said if she got hit by a bus anyone should be able to take over any wedding and know what is happening, and they really can.

Last year we had 36 weddings with some of them being postponed from Covid and we already have 30 this year with bookings still coming in. We are never going to be a venue with 120 weddings, I don’t want to be like that. We also have lots of events taking place at The Barn. Offering a personal service and relying on testimonials and recommendations is what we are all about. Currently we are not on any venue directories, word of mouth and social media is how we promote the The Barn.

We have more than quadrupled bookings since Lucy and her team started. The revenue has also increased and I see great value as I only pay when they work for me. The feedback we have received from couples has been incredible. I look forward to continue working together.

  • Once you have signed up for a package that suits, you will have a full onboarding process with Lucy who will introduce your associate who will be your point of contact (and honourary staff member). Olivia and Lucy are the founders of the service and have a team of freelancers ready to work their magic for you!

  • Sadly not, this is purely a VA service for wedding venues and suppliers. However, Olivia is available for one to ones - do get in touch!

  • Should you wish to cancel or pause working with Vendor VA, you can absolutely do so by giving a months notice.

  • No. This is completely one to one service, tailored to your wedding business.
