5 reel ideas to showcase your venue
We all know that the Instagram algorithms favour video content and that the use of reels have become a common and popular way to reach more people. Have you been using reels? If you haven’t, now would be a great time to have a go. I’ve highlighted 5 types of reels you could produce to showcase your wedding venue, giving you fresh content.
Before & After
Take a short video of your main reception space before the tables are dressed - this could just be plain cloths with empty tables or a complete empty room. Then take a video once the flowers are installed, tables are laid and all the details are present. Stitch them together and voila - an inspiring and satisfying reveal! Don’t forget to tag all the suppliers involved for a wider reach.
Behind the scenes
With the couples permission, take short snapshots from the set up, the ceremony, the reception and evening. Put them together to music and there you have it. A real insight into what potential couples could experience with you. This is powerful as it can help increase show round/enquiry rates.
Video testimonial
When you follow up post wedding, instead of asking for just a written review, ask them if they’d mind filming a short video for you instead. Send them some prompts to use. Pop it on a reel and increase that know, like and trust factor.
Professional Images
Once the gallery of professional images have arrived, choose your favourite and create a slideshow of the real wedding.
Tips/Decor Ideas
You could have a team member give a quick tip that might be specific to your venue or you may like a decor idea from a real wedding that you’d like to share to inspire. For example, I once ran a wedding where they provided a coffee table book for signing which was a genius idea.
I hope you found the above useful, reels don’t need to be complicated. Just give it a go and see what happens. Reels are great for quick snapshots of your venue and will really enhance what you do. I’d love to hear from you, do get in touch if you feel you need a little guidance or advice when it comes to your venue.
